Reese’s Pieces Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Ingredients:

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
– 3/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 2 large eggs
– 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
– 1 cup Reese’s Pieces candies

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until well combined.
4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
5. Fold in the chocolate chips and Reese’s Pieces until evenly distributed.
6. Spread the cookie dough evenly in the prepared baking pan.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Allow the bars to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
