I brought this enchanting recipe directly from France, and now it’s your turn to try this wonder in your kitchen.

With simple ingredients and a fun preparation, these pasta flowers with ricotta will win over everyone around the table.

Perfect to accompany coffee or afternoon tea, they are delicate, charming and irresistible. Let’s learn how to make them?

Ingredients:

    • 250 g ricotta (curd)
    • 100 g butter
    • 2 egg yolks
    • 100 g sugar
    • 250 g wheat flour
    • 1 teaspoon of baking powder (Royal type)
  • Icing sugar for sprinkling

Preparation method:

In a bowl, mix the ricotta (curd) with the butter until you get a uniform texture.

Add the two egg yolks and the sugar, stirring until the mixture is smooth.

Add the wheat flour and knead with your hands until you form a smooth, consistent dough.

Place the dough in a plastic bag and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Roll out the dough with a rolling pin on a smooth surface, forming a thin disc less than 0.5 cm thick.

Using a mold, such as the mouth of a glass, cut the dough into small discs.

Overlap four discs of dough and roll them together, creating the shape of a flower.

Cut the roll in half to form two flowers. Shape the base of each flower to make it straight and stable.

Arrange the shaped flowers on a greased baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 20 minutes, or until lightly golden.

After baking, sprinkle powdered sugar over the flowers for a delicate touch.

Serve immediately and enjoy!

This recipe is perfect for those looking for a delicate and charming biscuit, ideal to accompany coffee or afternoon tea.
