Air Fryer Salmon Bites with Hot Honey

Air Fryer Salmon Bites with Hot Honey

Ingredients:

1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)
For the Hot Honey:
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon lime juice

Instructions:

Marinate the Salmon:
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using).
Add the salmon cubes to the marinade, tossing to coat evenly. Let the salmon marinate for at least 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Prepare the Hot Honey:
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the honey, hot sauce, and lime juice. Stir until well mixed and slightly warm. Remove from heat and set aside.
Air Fry the Salmon Bites:
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Arrange the marinated salmon cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they aren’t overcrowded. You may need to cook them in batches.
Air fry the salmon bites for 7-9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the salmon is cooked through and slightly crispy on the edges.
Serve:
Transfer the salmon bites to a serving plate and drizzle with the hot honey sauce.
Serve immediately with extra hot honey on the side for dipping.
Notes:
For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of hot sauce in the honey or use a milder variety.
These salmon bites are great served over rice or a fresh salad.
If you don’t have an air fryer, you can bake the salmon bites in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 12-15 minutes.
