Ingredients:
1 (32 oz) bag frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
2 cups diced cooked ham
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup crushed cornflakes or bread crumbs (optional for topping)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Combine Ingredients:
In a large bowl, mix together the thawed hash browns, diced ham, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well combined.
Transfer to Baking Dish:
Spread the hash brown mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Add Topping (Optional):
Sprinkle crushed cornflakes or bread crumbs over the top for a crunchy topping.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
Serve:
Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and serve warm.
