Ingredients:
1 box fudge brownie mix
2 bags mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, halved
4 cups cold 2% milk
2 boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup creamy peanut butter
4 tsp vanilla extract
2 cans (8 oz each) Cool Whip, thawed
Directions:
Bake the Brownies:
Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, using a greased 9×13 inch pan.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, then let cool.
Cut the brownies into ¾-inch pieces once cool. Set aside.
Prepare Pudding Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix with cold milk for 2 minutes until thick.
Add the peanut butter and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
Fold in 1 ½ cups of Cool Whip to the pudding mixture for a light, creamy texture.
Assemble the Layers:
In a large glass dish or trifle bowl, start with a layer of one-third of the brownie pieces.
Add half of the halved peanut butter cups over the brownies.
Spread one-third of the pudding mixture evenly over the peanut butter cups.
Repeat Layers:
Add another layer of brownies, followed by the rest of the peanut butter cups and the remaining pudding mixture.
For the final layer, top with the leftover Cool Whip.
Garnish and Chill:
Sprinkle any extra peanut butter cup pieces on top for garnish.
