Ingredients:
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ teaspoon ground ginger
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
¾ cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 cup pumpkin puree
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar, mixing until smooth. Add the egg, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
Combine and Add Chocolate Chips: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
