Crockpot Chicken & Gravy Recipe

Crockpot Chicken & Gravy Recipe

Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing seasoning mix
1 packet (1 oz) onion soup mix
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup chicken broth (or water)
1/4 cup butter (optional, for extra richness)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken:

Place the chicken breasts (or thighs) in the bottom of the Crockpot.
Make the Gravy:

In a bowl, combine the ranch seasoning mix, onion soup mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Stir to combine.
Cook the Chicken:

Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken in the Crockpot, making sure the chicken is well-coated.
Dot the top of the gravy with butter (optional for extra flavor and creaminess).
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Slow Cook:

Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
The chicken should easily shred with a fork when it’s done.
Shred the Chicken:

Once the chicken is cooked, shred it directly in the Crockpot using two forks or leave the chicken whole for serving.
Stir the gravy to combine it with the shredded chicken, or leave it as is for a chunkier texture.
Serve:

Serve the Crockpot Chicken & Gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or with a side of vegetables. You can also serve it with biscuits for a comforting meal.
